Trade Show Banner Stands #3: Quickscreen 3 Banner

The Quickscreen 3 Banner stand system is the best way to test drive your display and marketing materials before committing to a higher end system. With a per unit cost as low as $499, the Quickscreen 3 comes with one custom photographic quality picture printed on laminated photo paper stock as part of the unit. The entire setup consists of a spine and a coiled graphics module. You extend the spine to the desired height, and pull the tab on the graphics module, unrolling your display signage, hooking it over the top of the spine to keep it rigid. In some ways, it’s like the old movie screens that were used in elementary and high schools, only upside down. The stands can go as high as 79” tall, but are adjustable height, allowing you to use them as free standing floor displays or as half height table displays, and come in a variety of widths, from 19” to 39.4”.

Each Quickscreen 3 Banner stand system sets up in minutes, by a single person with no tools. They collapse and fold down and can come with an optional hard case for storage. When stowed, they weigh 15 lbs, making them light enough to take as carry-on luggage, which is perfect if you need to send them along with account representatives or a sales force to a remote presentation.

Additional picture modules can be bought and swapped out. These cost considerably less than a new display, and allow you to change your message in response to how it’s generating reactions. Each additional picture module costs around 200 dollars, and the pictures are printed on photographic grade color printing, and laminated for durability.

With the money you save on displaying your corporate presence with banner stands, you can spend more on amenities for your booth, like flooring, extra seating for customers and booth workers, display racks or printed literature for convention attendees to take with them. Alternately, you can use multiple banner stands, targeting different specials on each day with a different graphics module. Because of the extreme flexibility they offer in height, and the ability to buy them in 19” widths, it’s possible to use banner stands to fill in the “gaps” in your display area.

As with any signage you do, the rule of thumb for visibility is that text has to be at least 8” high to be readable from a 20 foot distance, and light text on a dark or colored background is readable from a greater distance than dark text on a white background. Above all else, avoid black text on a white background, as in the cluttered confines of an exhibit hall with everyone else’s signs competing for attention, it blurs into a general “gray” and gets ignored.
